I'm rather confident that UW should start merchandising Subnautica asap. The modular base units are just great for tinkering in RR ( Real Reality ). It would look and be awesome. Not only for showing off, but also actual playing. Parents can play the game on TV, while the kids can play in front of the TV. Throw in the cool wildlife and huppekee:.........instant classic. I mean it! Get some Chinese blokes started.

So what your suggesting is a modular base building toy set?

I LOVE IT! I will pay for that.

For it to succeed as a toy, it must be acceesible to figurines. Playmobil size will make it all too big. Perhaps characters like mini-Lego figures. Notify when you start :)

Video games are toys. We don't need any more plastic products that will just eventually end up in the ocean. If you love Subnautica you should appreciate this, because in real life our beautiful oceans are dying and it is entirely our fault. I'm not saying physical toys are the problem, but they are one of many examples of our wasteful culture.

    Well, Jesus.

The problem with your idea is that, yes, while games are toys, physical toys are very fun too. And plus, people aren't deliberately going to throw whole sets into the ocean they purchased. If they do, then they must have money that they don't need, which is stupid in today's economy unless you're in the top middle class or 1%.
