So, in short it would be VERY nice if the Consoles for the Moonpool and Cyclops worked the same to both allow for making upgrades for Docked Vehicles along with the Cyclops' own, with the choice to change colors as a tab for player convenience.
(and in turn if the Moonpool Upgrade Station could make Cyclops parts)

In turn the idea of a "Main Computer" for Bases to a point also like on the Cyclops + Scanner Functions on the Cyclops with both able to use their Main/Onboard Computer AI functions to do Research on blueprints one has access to but not all of, when hard to find.
(like say you find 2 of 3 Nuclear Reactor parts or don't know what wreck has the Repair Bay)

This way when we are radioed new possible things we can make but don't all parts get included we can do some of the work while looking for the "rest" of what we need or while doing other things.

What more, this increase on "Main Base/Onboard" PC power with the improvements to the PDA & Scanner Rooms tech along with allowing the Scanning Powers of the Cyclops Research Sub to be used, would allow us to more effectively make use of Scanner Rooms to better explore & understand the World(s) of Subnautica.

*these upgrades to include that any Scanner Base including Cyclops +sized Research Subs that have a Radio if in range of you or in range of something with a radio in range of you can be controlled remotely via an added PDA page for Scanners where within sets of tabs the Beacons for Cameras & Scanner Rooms could be set to from other beacons. (these "extra tabs" on the bottom of the pages)

In this way we can use the Cyclops and larger similar Research Ships as added in the series to scan like an on the go base,
while using bases we have built that have Radios from afar to gain an overall 3D Topographical Map to view.
(along with additional user preference settings.)

As the series moves forwards with New Biomes and New Planets that are all unique within the Natural Selection universe,
these kinds of user comforts plus the use of levels of Vehicle Automations of Control will allow Subnautica to truly both rise
and above the competition along with simply staying afloat in the years ahead as one of the best, most innovative games in years.

By this I mean how on the Cyclops, the onboard AI/Computer systems have a few smaller consoles that display useful informations along with customizations for the ship.

It would be good if in a Multipurpose Room we as with Reactors could install "Base Computers" to perform research on blueprints that are incomplete much as Scanner Rooms do scanning, while also helping increase the effectiveness of such devices along with all other kinds that can be built in or connected to a base.

    - would cost more expensive resources as like with the Nuclear Reactor but worth making in a main base, using something like 2 Copper Wires, 2 Wiring Kits, 1 Advanced Wiring Kit, and a Computer Chip along with Titanium with some Rubies? And an upgrades console to be sure as with the Scanner Room.

For the Cyclops, would more so be a "Built In" thing, but it would also be interesting when making a vehicle if there were more "advanced" versions we could upgrade to while making them while also if a Mobile Bay is in range of an existing vehicle allowing upgrades to them.

This perhaps could be something done to make an existing Cyclops have the "Reinforced Hull" and "Advanced Onboard PC" options done when obtained via Radio Coms one finds post game, or as part of something that 'happens' to land in a Time Capsule + a Radio Broadcast? While being part of new games and old ones both, this could be a great extension for the base game to bundle with the purchase of the "Arctic Biome."
