what fits the NS theme?
Well, before I went too far, I thought I better check if these textures were going to be considered to Quake-like or if people thought they did not fit the NS theme.

To be honest, they just don't look realistic. Most of the lines seem far too sharp and precise, and the highlights and shading also seems very mechanical. I'm not a photoshop master by any count, but there must be some filter to 'diffuse' things a bit (not exactly blur, but close). A layer of that on top with a low opacity might make it look more realistic. Maybe.

I agree with Greedo. Some of the edges seem too sharp and regular, compared to the NS textures. Try making the highlights less intense, add some nics and notches. They are a lovely set of textures though. I wish I could do as well.

They look great to me, certainly a lot better (at least more useable) than a good deal of the textures in the ns.wad

Abit too 'clean' for the NS style. Which of course I cannot specify. Well.

    i really like them ~:)
i do agree though, they seem a bit too clean for the NS look (but not by much). perhaps try a fine grain sharpening filter, since they could obviously be blown up a bit and still ook fairly sexy.
