File Consistency?

<div class="IPBDescription">Help?</div> Hey, ever since v1.02 came out i been trying to connect to a server and an error comes up saying "Server enforcing File Constitency models/shell.dll"
I haven't changed anything, i play with default settings but it only happens on 1 server but no other.
Is there anyway to fix it? I've reinstalled NS like 3 times and reinistalled HL like 2 times. Nothing worked.
Help?

Are you sure it was models/shell.dll ? Because if it is, that dosnt make sense, there is no shell.dll in ../models/ folders <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

Your best bet is to find that file, delete it and reconnect to that server. You should automatically download the servers version of any file your missing, which should be the correct file...

I use ASE (all seeing eye) and I connect to servers with a file_consistency of 0 hehe

Download the 1.03 server page from the main page and unzip it into your NS folder, fixes this problem. (Yes, 1.03 server, don't worry tht it says server, its what fixes it <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> )
