Good cave systems near lifepod

Does anyone know the location of any good cave systems near the lifepod, I found one a couple hundred meters away from the lifepod (the one where when you go into the cave from the giant coral tubes there is a platform with 4 outcrops(Breakable). Unfortunately, my computer broke and I lost my(somewhat pitiful) progress. I am now further along, but I can't find any good cave systems because I forgot where the one I mentioned above was, and now I'm stuck looking for copper, silver, and lead. Could somebody please tell me where that one is or some other good cave system BECAUSE LOOKING FOR CAVES AND STUFF TO MINE IS REALLY INFURIATING

There's a few small cave systems all over the safe shallows and at the bottom of the kelp forest iirc, but be careful of a certain fish that lives in them...

Don't look for caves - there are some, but if you're starting out, it's not worth the time you'll have to spend looking for them.

Instead find another biome - most biomes except the starting one have the resources you need.

Essentially, go horizontal instead of vertical for awhile.

(spoilers about resources' relative abundance in different biomes and where to find them were ruthlessly censored)

Oh yeah thos fish are so annoying! I found it, but only because of some sort of weird rendering glitch where I could see through terrain and go through rock

We cant really give a good cave list due to the fact the lifepod spawn is semi random. It has a list of places it can spawn. And selects one at random for a new game.

I may be a bit late on this post, but there are some really good caves in Kelp Forests, and resources just sitting around. But if you're willing to travel, the KooshZone has some really good caves, but mostly mid-game items there
