According to the manual, the name onos comes from oh no's. But what do you call two of those guys then? onoss onoses or??

Instead of murder I think a massacre of onos would be a better term.

Personally what I always say when I'm alone trying to build something my teammates died protecting and I see an Ohno is OH***T! so to me they're OHS***'s. *shrug* but I'm allowed to say stuff like that, I don't live at home anymore.

like, "oh crap we lose here comes [a bunch, 3, a few, a couple, a bloodthirsty homicidal horde] of Onos."

"Onos" is both the singular and the plural. And personally, I think a large number of Onos should be called a flock, just because that's really funny. (:
