Moonpool 2.0 the Stationary Vehicle bay.

I love the moonpool, and they work really well in their own right as an outpost.

But it's got a couple of issues.
1) The cyclops vehicle bay panel is way more advanced than our moonpool allowing for much needed (handwavium) interactions with vehicles- this is no surprise to anyone here :D
2) Ramps and walkways for the prawn suit get really awkward.
3) We just dock and provide shelter for our vehicles.
4) Cyclops can't soft/hard dock
4) the vehicle lights are always left on.

So a quick functionality wish list.
  1. Interface to Enable|Disable vehicle repair
  2. Interface to Enable|Disable vehicle power to be replenished.
  3. Interface to Enable|Disable vehicle module upgrade interaction
  4. Interface to Enable vehicle storage interaction
  5. Interface to Enable vehicle fabrication - seamoths, prawn suit, sea-truck compartment, (snowfox?)
  6. (depending on design location of the entrance) Interface to Open|Close moon poolside door
  7. (depending on design location of the entrance) Interface to Lower|Raise moon pool floor as a lift. (see open close)
  8. External module to provide umbilical, soft/hard dock to the cyclops.

I doubt the devs share our love for the moonpool.

Who knows if we're gonna be able to build one in Below Zero? Because otherwise, I would have expected the devs to fix some of the known issues already.

And to add something to the wish list:

    a) the moonpool should be an optional upgrade for a multipurpose room of the same size
    b) introduce a smaller 'moonpool' version as an upgrade for a multipurpose room (see alien containment)
    c) allow the player to change the orientation of the moonpool (north, south, etc.) when they want to add one to an existing base
    d) place the docking console right next to one side of the pool rather than next to a wall
    e) let the player decide in which direction the docked vehicle will be facing (achieved via b, c or d)
    f) add a more detailed damage model for both the seamoth and prawn suit (check the wreckages)
    g) reconfiguring the Seamoth / Prawn Suit should require the docking console (you might even add an animation similar to building a new one)
