What do's that have to do with mapping ? btw i don't know where to find one, i use MilkShape which has one anyway.

i´m planning models for maps, useful for mappers. I work with 3dmax r4 i have solved the problem thanks. Is milkshape robust?

MilkShape can be used with Max, you can import a max file and export it to SMD file's, and it's a free program.
