Moonpool Dock Repair

This may have been discussed before, but since I am rather 'new' to the game thought I'd chime in. I started playing Xbox version of Subnautica earlier this year. First game I ever got ALL the achievements! Anyway, Why does the MoonPool not offer a way for Docked vehicles to auto repair like the Cyclops? If it auto charges, it should repair too.

    Well, there's a mod for the PC version that does exactly that.

    BTW: I don't really understand why the devs don't implement these trivial improvements themselves... same with the moonpool rotate f.e.
