I think discussing "h4x0red" software is against these boards' policies. I'd avoid it, myself.
Desolation, I got the AvP2 tools package and its update... Then it tells me I need to have AvP2 to use it. Oops. Most of the reasons I'm so hot for converted models here revolve around the fact that I haven't got AvP2. CTX just sent me the majority of models I think can be used [except the rotary GL, which I wasn't aware of]. What do you do to convert the models? Would you be willing to work together with me on these conversions?
I was told .DTX can be opened with a plug-in with Photoshop. The .ABC model must be opened with MilkShape, worked on, then converted to .MDL (I'm not EXACTLY sure but that's basically how it's done.)
You also have to match up bones and make sure the animations are named for NS right and stuff.
where to get the AvP2 tools i seached alot but i didnt find anything <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->
Katsuro, i know wut u mean. I registered MS3d and i had problems registering it. but i put in the register code and left it there, and kept on checking the register screen. after like a few mins, i had it registered. its a pain, but its not hard.
Get the AvP2 tools from Sierra's AvP2 site. Go to Google.com, search for "avp2" and it should be the first result you get. Then give it a minute to load so you see the "downloads" link on the left. It's there.
I'm going to be trying PlanetShogo's Lithtech Tools, which include a Photoshop plugin. I'll let you know what my experiences are.
