Smaller Fire Sprite

<div class="IPBDescription">need some...</div> Ok can some one gimme URL or throw together a smaller gun fir sprite? The current sprite is blocking my vision ie I am lossing site of attacking skulks =/

what does the word "cheating" means to you?
The fire sprite is , as same as the Laserpointer on some publics, an important athmospheric feature and disatvantage in the game.
I agree that the fire sprite looks awfull compared with the rest of the game, so a better one would be nice.

It would be nice to give aliens some atmospheric disatvantages too, especially a worse sight as Fade.

also, i do consider changing this sprite cheating and lame. its there for a reason, live with it and learn not to spam your fire. shoot in small bits

Personally I don't really see the issue. I guess if there were NO muzzle flash, maybe it'd ba bad, but I use a different one I made, just because it looks better than the default.

If it makes a difference to my accuracy, it's only because now I'm not left thinking "this sprite could be better" whenever I shoot. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

They implemented model/sprite checking in 1.03. Even if you made your own special custom sprite job, most public servers wouldn't allow you to play unless you delete it first.

Call me a cheater, I don't care, but I made my own blue fire sprite, not quite as big as the original but close. It's blue...it's awsome :}

I would release it...but It is apparently cheating...so...

not all servers use the option though, and you can use all seeing eye to check for mp_consistancy.
