<div class="IPBDescription">Admin giving extra money to one side</div> I have been in a number of servers where, (if the admin is present) they seem to have an abundance of resources. I can't remember any server name in particular but on one server the admin was on the marines(I was on alien every game). Within about 10 minutes of starting each game the marines had managed to construct a turret factory and about 10 turrets as well as a phasegate in both hives, when they only had maybe 3 nozzles at most. Is it just me or is that chickenpoo? (In that there's no way they could have enough money in that amount of time with a few nozzles to build all that)
I've noticed before that (when I was on marine) we had a lot of money comming in,(about 10 everytime it increased) when we only had maybe 3 or 4 nozzles.
Well, I was just wondering if anyone else noticed this. How many people were on the team?

RP= amount of Marines x amount of Nozzles(I think)

Since Marines have a "joint bank account" it may seem like they're getting resources faster, but I think the same "formula" applies to Aliens as well.

I noticed something like this when I was on a server. We (the Kharaa) owned every 2 hive points and every Rsc Nozzle except the one that the marines were holding. Now i might be hallucinating, but the marines shouldn't be able to buy 8 GL's within 2 minutes if they only have 1 Rsc nozzle

Well if he was conserving resourses (read: not turret farming) he could have had resourses in reserve. Ill do that sometimes; Its useful.

The marine and alien resource formulas are both very complicated, and I only really understand the alien one. There is a very nice thread stickied about it <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=21&t=11247' target='_blank'>here</a>, but I haven't seen one about the marines.

It is entirely possible that the marines could be getting 10 rps per tick, especially if it was a large game. I've seen even more than that before. <b>But</b> it could be a lame admin. If so, you can't really do anything. Just find somewhere to play where the admins play fair.

Depends on if they stockpiled their resources throughout the game or not. If they did, I'm not surprised you guys had total map domination. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
