<div class="IPBDescription">In off-topic since it's not NS-related..</div> Alright, well internet explorer has decided yet again to spontaneously change a setting or something and this latest change is really irritating.

Whenever a window tries to pop-up from another web page, for whatever reason (clicked on a link, advertisement, etc.) nothing loads in the window. This is especially irritating when sites use javascript popups and stuff, since I can't see anything that loads in the new window and there's no way to get to that location without a popup! grrr...

anyone have any ideas?

you could check your advanced settings in tools->internet options, but it also may be spyware doing something, so get <a href='http://www.lavasoftusa.com/' target='_blank'>Ad-Aware</a> if you don't already have it

also check your Security settings, somebody may have changed em.

I've already got spybot (far superior to ad-aware), and it's not my security settings either... thanks for the ideas anyway :-/
