<div class="IPBDescription">Download here</div> I've searched for all the hotkeys and impulse commands, and added them to the keyboard config file that comes with NS.
The file, kb_act.lst should be placed in NS\gfx\shell direcotry will allow you to bind new commands from the game keyboard
configuration window.

The file includes:
* Marine radio hotkeys like need ammo, need health, follow me,enemy spotted etc.
* Every commander building - TF,Phase gate and all other buildings.
* Aliens hotkeys for evolving with full name, not Defense upgrade 1
* Gorge hotkeys for building all the chambers

if you want to get the commands themselves, just open the file with notepad.

Important Note:
hotkey are not really commands so they can't be called from aliases.
If you bind a key to hotkey, it should be the first and only command there.
You can't put commands before or after hotkeys. This is because the function that check for hotkeys is the commander mode
function, not the normal one.

When I saw the name of this topic I thought it was about a map named ns_binds.

    I'm confused easily.

Didn't think the name will confuse ppl.
Anyway I've noticed that this commands showed up in other posts, but unlike them
this one isn't a cfg file or a commands list, this is a keyboard config file for the game itself.
Many ppl who dont know much about commands or binds can simply copy the file to their
NS\gfx\shell direcotry and set the keys from NS config menu.
This kb_act file is something like the file that was suppose to come with NS in the first place...

Wow I did the same exact thing with my KB act only with winamp controls and general communications and other stuff.

BTW..Binding t to turret doesnt put a turret right in your hand if you press t...you MUST open the corresponding menu before you hit "t". and you cant bind make a bind that opens-menu-select-turret either so dont even try. but it is nice to hit a key to open item menu and then another key to select medkit, drop, medkit, drop, medkit etc.

//edit after actually eading the initial post instead of just looking at the DL I realize that he said that already :/

Indeed a very nice job! My kb_act.lst file went out the window after about 3-seconds!!!

I did however find some spelling errors and a few of the structures had the wrong names.

I have corrected these errors and have also restructured the content so that it is easier to find what is what. I found that it would be helpful to know what structure that was in the respective menu when you binded the keys. To in a way create some logic in the layout of the binds on the keyboard. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

I have also taken the time to create a more comprehensive Radio Command section in the file. I have added information as what Alien Communication that corresponds to the same impulse as the Marine Radio Commands. In essence I have added an Alien Radio command section to the controls section!

Alien radio and Marine Radio share impulses and sadly the things they mean do not correspond to each other. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo--> For example the impulse for taunt for Mariens are Need Backup for the Aliens. This is a little annoying but nothing you can do anything about. You have to learn different keys for the different teams.
