I've been following Eve Online for a little while. It looks very interesting (I was about to mention it when I saw your post, heh). I really wish I didn't have to.. as does everyone else I'm sure. Though Planetside would be the first MMORPG I'd pay for, hopefully it won't be too expensive. Well its £6 for us europeans but we are apparently 5 patch's behind you, which sucks! and Everquest is like $12.50 - I think daoc is a good mmorpg, and probably one of the cheapest.
Due to my 56k and empty wallet I have never had the pleasure of playing a MMORPG although a mate of mine did play AC for a while so I got to see it being played...I do like RPGs though...

Take my warning and stay away from everquest. Its fun for a while till your like a level 60 enchanter. So you go raiding. You gotta wait for your whole guild to get there takes bout 10-20 minutes. Then you gotta buff everybody up that takes about 20 minutes to 1hr depending on what your doing. Then you gotta fight your way threw 416236103712 monster that all look that same but have almost the same name like A Evil Midget with a baseball bat, and <u>An</u> Evil Midget with a baseball bat. So your in this raid now for about 1 and a half before you get to good l3wtz, stuff you can use. You mez something for crowd control but somebody has doted the thing or something. So you cant control it and it kills you. Then your whole guild. So you have to wait for about 1 hr to get your corpse back from the necro :/ That is if you even have a necros in your guild. Whewt whewt i pay money for this stuff <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->
Then if your on a pvp server. Which enchanters are so good at because all their spells use magic resistance and everbody gets there magic up to the highest first. You gotta worry about another guild corpse camping the zone. OMG YEAH!!!!! i cant get any of my stuff <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
