I've recentley downloaded the 'Rocket crowbar' bot program that enables bots for NS.
I'm going home for christmas, and dont have access to the internet (My parents dont need it). But I'm going to be there for a while, and thought I'd see if there was a bot program out yet. Well, there is apparently! Problem is, my client side dload doesn't allow me to create games, as there are no NS maps listed in the create lan game menu. Yet within the ns map folder, there are some files, all with the appropriate map names.
Now, do I just need to move those files to a different directory, or do I need to dload a map pack? Because all I've seen available for dload, is the server side and client side dloads.

I'd appreciate some feedback asap, as I'm leaving for the family festivities tomorrow (sun 15). Oh yeh I'm in the Uk so its the 14th at the moment, even though the forum says it's the 15th.

Cheers in advance.

So you HAVE the Client install?
Sounds like you're using the "dodgy" NS shortcut that was
    placed on your desktop.

Open Half-Life or Cstrike from your program files menu or a CS/HL
desktop shortcut and activate NS from the "Custom Game" / "MODS" menu.
You should have maps there now.

    Of not.....er.... i dunno, sorry

The best way to run it is,

    open "Start Menu"

    click on "Run"

type in the actual command line to load half-life and add "-game ns -console" to it, then okay.

It seems to view the maps okay like this.
