An other one... But with a hitch!
"Full" as in all the bells and whistles. It hasn't got his face, but it's got his armour. And shoulder lamp. And motion tracker. And helmet-mounted mic. And armoured flap on the back of the helmet. And a little detraction from the classic Hudson armour in the fact that he's got a Smartgunner's eyepiece. I put that there as justification for the NS HUD.
Monolith made the models, I modified the skins for most of the parts based on photos of Hudson's real armour. I fixed the elbow so he's actually got an elbow and reskinned the hands using the model's hands' skin, rather than a recolour of the NS marine skin, so the skin tone is more consistent.
Big thanks to Hammer for finding and sending me the "unused" AvP2 models that enabled me to do this so easily.
And thanks too to the guy who first converted the AvP2 marine model that everyone's so joyfully playing around with.

Yes, it's a fairly moody, dark skin. I like it that way. I'm the one at a disadvantage if I can't see you in shadows, not you.
No, it does not have the V2 Smartgun anims because those anims were made with missing bones. I had to reassign the model to the default skeleton, which prevented me from using the Smartgun-enabled anims, unfortunately. If someone would like to reanimate the HMG anims to suit the Smartgun for me, I'll replace this thing. Be sure to use my version of the model, though, so you get all the default bones; this makes it easier to convert the model for future versions of NS, if anybody happens to get attached enough to want such a thing.

Click to download the NOT-SO-FULL Hudson-style marine, with NO accessories [clocks in at about 1600 polies--slightly more with jetpack enabled]
The white and black skins, as well as the jetpack SHOULD work properly. If they aren't, it may be NS has decided to crap itself out for you. I think I did it right, but I haven't tested it in-game yet. Been up all yesterday, last night and today making this thing, so I'm too tired to bother testing. I just want it out of my hands... Let me know of any issues you have, of course.
Yes, the elbows still look a little funny. I tried and tried and tried to get it to look right, but there's just some strangely-placed vertexes there I just can't seem to put in the right place.
Yes, the left shoulder plate will appear to come completely out from under the bigger plates. You won't notice it in-game unless you sit there hunting for glitches during the construction anims, or something.
Yes, his right big shoulder plate has cartoony eyes on it, but the left doesn't, as it was on the armour made for the movie.
Yes, there is a lazy camo on the jetpack [it's the last thing I did and, as I said, I'm tired]. I may fix that. Or you may, if you feel up to it.
No, I don't have plans to make lighter versions of the skins used on the components that make up this model.
Thank you in advance to all you guys who so kindly offer mirrors to everyone. It's greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot for the positive feedback, guys. I'll be switching my download file for Desolation's with the Smartgun anims.
Great job, Desolation.
