Well, ok... The start looks alright archetecturally... A little square, but not bad.
The ladder textures are bad. They also seem to be lit up when nothing else around them is.
You lack particle system stuff. Try throwing some dripping water or steam or something in.
That box behind the commander console looks too boxy, and looks to have no purpose.
The commander console can't be reached by lvl 5s, and it doesn't look like too many aliens can get in there to tear it apart. Dunno if that's a good thing or bad thing.
The wall with the door in it that leads out of the marine spawn is textured wrong. That texture shouldn't be stacked like that.
The back wall with the diamonds is nice.
The rest of the map has this creepy feeling to it (good) but is too dark for the marine side of the map.
Doors are not accented/highlighted in any way, making you have to either know the layout of the map, or run around with your flashlight on trying to figure out where the door is hidden.
That glass cooridor was nice, though a bit simplistic.
That's about all I can think of for now.
Furthermore your map is a bit square, but very good imo. The doors are a bit odd placed, but that does not really matter... this is actually almost 90% on how i would want my map to look for the training mission...
Thanks for the feed back on the ladders, I wasn't really sure how to fix that so thanks a lot.
As I get closer to doing the aliens part of the map I will make the station looked damaged and battered and stuff like that.
