Timing Out

<div class="IPBDescription">Connection problems during games</div> This is starting to get really annoying. It seems that in every server I join, I end up timing out (and receiving the 'connection problem' message). Though there seem to be a few servers I can play on uninterrupted, in general, I time out after around 30 minutes in each game (though this can vary). There are no other connection problems in the game before I time out, either. I'm new to Half Life mods, but this doesn't happen on UT2K3. Can anyone help?

It happens to me very often. And it really POs me because I play in quite a few clan matches. It seems as if you have a cable modem, and it stops responding for a second or so, Half-Life can't reconnect without the user typing in "retry" in the console. This is fine by me when I'm marine but it REALLY ticks me off when I'm alien (which I play 95% of the time). One time I just got enough RPs for an Onos, then I started to gestate and I got a timeout! <!--emo&:angry:--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo-->

I'm having the same problem I'm using a computer w/ xp I don't know if it's a timing out problem or crash. Playing at the same time at the same server my pc w/ win 98 does just fine while the xp computer gets kicked out of the game into the console.
