<div class="IPBDescription">after I reg cleaned.</div> I downloaded system mechanic and I did a reg clean and deleted all the "invalid" files. Then after restarting (to finish fully cleaning), I tried to connect to Nano-Gridlock and Pwnage server, but it would not. It just sat there for ~5 min (it usually takes 2 min to connect on my machine). It sat at the "Initializing and Downloading" screen. It was not downloading anything either......
I restored my reg to what it was before, but I am still having the same problem. The only thing I did after reg cleaning, was reinstalling my MouseWare drives so I could get my Mouse Control Panel back to shut off mouse accel. I don't get this problem in TFC or CS. It only started yesterday, and I only tried to connect 4 times (it was late and I wanted to get my daily HL fix.).
I have not tried yet today, but I shal soon.
Specs:
400Mhz AMD K6 3D accel, MMX
Voodoo3 3000 AGP 16mb (overclocked by ~33% and my AGP slot is going at 2x speed)
328mb of RAM (PC1200 type I think... my sys info says I only have 178mb though...)
I usually run in 640x480x16 OpenGL mode with Mini3Dfx driver selected and I have WhickedGL (demo) drivers.

Did you try reinstalling NS?
Also I am not sure, but I think I have hear dof problems with wickedGL and NS...
It could be skins
