I have a major problem with lights, specificly Flashlights and the lights that the portals create. My FPS drops very low and I lose target of things easily, where as other people have no problem and teleport around. Very bad considering I'm always going up against that outpost with a portal in it >< so I end up being turned around and sometimes end up shooting at the wrong things

Is there any way to remove the lightning effects that the portal and flashlight gives off? I'm sure the only things I'll loose out of it is the spiffy effects and the easy giveaways that they do. Thanks ahead of time for any help.
