One more thing...Don't know if its supposed to be there or if you can do anything about it, but, for the shoot empty animation, you can see a bullet in the chamber. Im assuming since its shooting and empty there shouldnt be a bullet there o_o
there should be never a bullet in the chamber when the slider pulled back.. when u pull it back the whole round has to be pulled out again... maybe collor the case black..so it looks like a hole
That would require a total reanimation of the gun, assigning the bullet to a completely seperate bone and moving it down until it's hidden under vertexes in the receiver during that sequence.
I had a set of animations that did that for a custom Desert Eagle, but the origins were so horrendous that there was no way in hell I was going to use them.
If I use those anims, would anyone be willing to change the origins, or tell me how?
bah all you realism freaks
I could either:
1) Delete it, but that would mean that when the mag goes in there wont be any bullets in, and you'd moan about that 2) Just leave it there because I'm a lazy **obscenity**
then, fiddle with the numbers to change its position.
correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the order of them is:
x (left/right across the screen), y (up and down the screen, z (into and out of the screen) AFAIK
I could be wrong about which numbers do which, but you should get the general idea
Oh, Jim, I just noticed your question about the forward sight.
Due to the "hybrid" nature of the barrel, the forward sight is attached directly to the barrel. That ugly black band thing was my lazy attempt to make it look like the band that holds the sight. Poor excuse, I know. You can see what I mean about the hybrid barrel by going to SV's site. You can find the link in my original post in this thread.
Also, someone asked, so here is the W_model pictured in my original post. That's not to say the default download doesn't give you a W_model. It does. It's just below 2000 polies. This one I'm linking to has considerably more, due to the inclusion of the LAM, pressure pad and all those bullets. It's just pretty.
It may take a few minutes before you can download it, because I'm about to start the upload now, as I type this. So, if it doesn't work right away, try again in a few minutes.
I posted a reply to Jim's question and a link to the big W_model for this hack today, but due to the boards' current buggy-as-all-hell situation, the thread wasn't bumped up for anyone who may be interested to see.
A lot easier than making it completely from scratch. Compared to what it took for Elend, Warbeast and the others to make the models I pilfered, I did -nothing-. A bit of editting in Photoshop, a slight bit of modelling, remapping, reassigning to a new skeleton, alligning to make the slide go back straight... Piece of proverbial cake. I was, however, quite passionate about doing it because I do love a good SVI, as seen in The Shield, for example. Downright sexy things, when they want to be. Houf! Michael Chiklis looks insanely impressive when he's got that thing out.
And host it however you please. If people like it, I hope they make a MALICE V_model variant that uses this hack.

Sorry, la. I made this a good while ago and was hoping someone would do versions with the standard arms because I felt I was done with the project at the time I released it. Not to mention I've largely lost any interest I had in NS by now.
lost interest or not, you've still got some mad skillz man...not to mention a nice additude about helping, flaming, and giving GOOD input to other modelers...
Thanks, Delarosa. I appreciate that, still. But some people deserve much more credit than me.
Danke. I released an Axis hack-job pack I like to refer to as the "Black Knights" for DoD a few days ago. You can find it in the DoD mod forums, or on my clan's forums. I'm now doing a spot of work for E&C, which is exciting.

That's a funny question, actually. I had an account, ages and ages ago, with my Sympatico e-mail address, which I completely forgot about when I canceled Sympatico and came down here to Georgia. I couldn't log in, for some reason. Tried making a Hotmail account. That worked. And then they disallowed free e-mails, so I thought I was screwed. Then, after months and months of frustration, I signed in by accident on my ancient Sympatico account. God, I was so relieved. Made myself a new Earthlink account [I use Earthlink, but magically, my existing account was already being used by someone there?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?] and switched the address in my account info to it.
But, yes, I originally signed up with a pay account. If you mean a Shaw Cable Systems account, it's quite possble that it may work. However, I don't hardly know much about Shaw. Based in Ontario or Alberta? Something like that? I only know -about- them because I had to report some abuses one of their users was committing.
If a Shaw account doesn't work, I wouldn't be able to help you, sorry. :\

when u pull it back the whole round has to be pulled out again...

Scroll down to the point in the .qc which says:
$eyeposition 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000
and change it to
$origin 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000
then, fiddle with the numbers to change its position.

But maybe I'll put it on the anims that can do it. We'll see what energy and inspiration I have.
you can trick the reload animation a bit...let him lower the weapon a bit so u wont see the full clip is comming out

and wouldn't it be HARDER to hack mutlitple things apart, and slam them back togethe??? (in a fashion that works beutifully?)

Take off silencer, maybe the scope and make the clip much bigger than that skinny P.o.S. lol
I wonder how a FN P90 would fit in as the LMG?
hmmm
anybody want to take it up? hehe
