I'm not sure i understand this
Ok, I recently was looking at the old test map, ns_solar I think, and I noticed that the top of the map was sealed with func_seethroughs and then high above that was a big box of world brushes sealing everything up. Is this how we should be making our maps? Or is it ok to map normally. Do we need to build any special area for the commander to see the map from. I don't think I read about how to do this in the mapping guidelines, though it is very big and I might have missed it

That was the old way of doing the commander mode, it is MUCH different now, and you just have to read through the mapping guidelines on how to implement it. I just know, no big box above the level is needed
