Can't Select Next Weapon With Hotkey?

I don't see this listed anywhere in the forum and FAQ. Is it me or is there a bug with the assigned hotkey (E) for next weapon as aliens? I checked the settings and the key was assigned to E (the one I want). I can use Q (previous weapon) just fine. Is anyone experiencing this?
