<div class="IPBDescription">Don't play with your food, Eat it.</div> When a alien that uses its mouth to kill stuff (eg Skulk) I reckon they should be able to eat them for health instead of regeneration. So a Onos has to actually Eat the marines , not just run away, regenerate and then attack again. And the option to pick up the marine body and carry it somewhere then eat it (eg a vent). Tell me what you think of this?

I agree, it would be a little tricky, but in no way impossible.
The first person part would be simple:
I remember in "Thief", when you would pick up a corpse it would basically slow down your movement speed and show an icon. Then when you dropped it, it would turn off the icon, restore your speed, and drop a corpse in front of you. These things wouldn't be hard to implement at all.
The third person part: how to represent a skulk or fade dragging a marine from the outside, if you know what I mean... it would seem that if you didn't want to change the models entirely, you could explain it as a "temporary consumption", i.e. "I'll put this corpse into my alien gizzard then barf him up somewhere to eat him properly." That way you wouldn't have to change the model (except maybe make it fatter <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> ).
It can be easely done by awarding hit points for every kill (cannot exceed HP max)
There are some technical issues that prevent developers from dragging bodies across maps
shouldnt be too hard to work out the damage done to a marine - marnies health, if that number is less than 0 then you get a new menu item, something like "consume" with sub options of "carry" or "eat" and when carrying marine, carry becomes "drop". the marines model could simply be added on the Z axis in the position of the last frame of a "*_die" sequence.
i think that this would be a great idea, the aliens are too powerful and being able to regen is jast making them better, if they had to kill their prey it would be much better for marines

Vampire Slayer you can eat the humans corpses and get 1hp a second.
They wouldnt want a lot of gore so there would be no bloody corpses everywhere though, so i dont think this will be put in.
another idea, maybe heavy armour would stop a body being able to get eaten if the armout level is high enough (imagine getting you teeth into heavy armour *crack go the teeth*)

they dont have to be gorey. Just normal dead marine models
But getting hp from biteing marines is kind of a good idea, but it really depends on how much. If its too little you will still have to run to a dc and if it's too much aliens will be too powerfull...
