Post up your ideas for readyrooms.
An idea some people have been saying is make it really hard to get to the marine and alien tunnel, and if you fail you get put in auto join.
Also you could make the readyroom a slanted tunnel that you can't climp up, and you slide down into auto-join, and have to do something difficult to get to the marine or alien rooms

All that would do is annoy the people trying to play your map
theres one rule for NS maps.
RR should be small (not force to waste much time in), have enough info_player_start with enough space between them AND <b>a quick free choice wich team to join</b>.
To put it one is infected, (aliens) one isn't (marine)
Observe map you go up some stairs to....the observatory.
Random team you jump out the open air lock.
Also, you should/could create a RR that sets up the map(eg: Marines get into a drop-ship, if the map is on a planet, etc..).
what about minigames in the readyroom like
- skulk racing - a part of the ready room where skulk races happens again and again, then the players could go in and bet on a specific skulk...
- ping pong - stand in front of the ball to hit it, then just play.
- Onos riding - try to stay on the onos for at long as you can.
- skulk ranch - catch the most skulks to win.
I think just through architecture a ready room can be made into a fun little bout.
1. Players start in an open area
2. Players can either walk into a hive (aliens) or walk into an APC or a Dropship (Marines)
3. This would make a great ALIENS feel, the only problem would be is making the APC
4. When you walk into the APC, the "LETS ROCK" wav plays, and as u walk into the hive, you hear an alien scream

true but mine has more of an aliens feel...

I like this idea alot!
