after posting the original topic into the "servers and operators" section...i decided that this was perhaps not the best place for it to be...seeing as very few people decide to look at the posts there...anyway, here is a link to the original topic, i would very much like to see what the response is at the Admins behavior:

Admins run the server. It's their machine, their bandwidth. They can kick anyone for any reason. You have no rights on a server because you do not own it.

Looks to me like you made a mistake (not using the phase), got berated for it, then decided to start screaming harrasment. From your description it's no wonder you got kicked from the server, sounds to me like you started screaming bloody murder over nothing, and they kicked you to shut you up. I notice you didn't post what you said to point out the commander's "harrasment".

If you don't like a server, don't play on it. It's that simple.

    i said:

"er...he should be kicked, hes harrassing us"

    happy?
and you should read more carefully before you start assuming things.
anyway, this post wasnt meant to be replyed to, and the other one has been locked so stop now.

oh yes..and there was no screaming...i was simply pointing out that they were abusing their power.
you may have trouble counting...i was kicked twice.

once for an unknown reason, another for pointing out that the commander was breaking the rules.
anyway, its history now so STFU and read the whole post before you start talking BS

Well ive always been a firm believer that there is no such thing as admin abuse. People can argue all they want, no matter what admins do, its thier server, thier rules.

This isnt really aimed at you or your thread/post im just stating it.

Sorry dude, but you are wrong on that one. Perhaps the server operator can't abuse, but the administrators can. They don't own the server in most cases, they're just there to keep the peace. So yeah, there is such a thing as admin abuse.

Even so, its the owners choice to give them admin rights, he obviously stands by them, therefore they have the same rights that the operator does.

I just can stand when people use the word "Admin Abuse" as i adminned a server for a little while and we had almost 800 bans. And about 1/20 bans went to the firearms forums and screamed admin abuse. Even when they had every right to be banned.
