Am i the only one that notices this but for some reason in the ready room the footstep sounds are loud and clear but ingame as marines you can barely hear your own steps (except when you jump)
In the future is NS going to have a different step sound for heavy armor?

yer the hydrolic noise when the legs bend and then a clunk should do it.

I agree, that's always been my stance. But you always get the folks: "600 pounds of servo-enhanced....makes no sound??!!" What you have to realize is that the lack of footsteps was a deliberate measure. (Otherwise it would have been fixed before 1.0). There is clearly a reason for it. And I won't bore people again with my stupid version of an explanation. Read above.

Although I'm not objecting to footstep sounds for them. The hydraulic leg sound idea is kinda cool hehe. Almost like the powerloader in Aliens.
