It has come to my attention that several buildings do not comply with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards as stated in
• Part Number: 1910
• Part Title: Occupational Safety and Health Standards
• Subpart: D
• Subpart Title: Walking-Working Surfaces
• Standard Number: 1910.23
• Title: Guarding floor and wall openings and holes.

1910.23(a)(1)

Every stairway floor opening shall be guarded by a standard railing constructed in accordance with paragraph (e) of this section. The railing shall be provided on all exposed sides (except at entrance to stairway). For infrequently used stairways where traffic across the opening prevents the use of fixed standard railing (as when located in aisle spaces, etc.), the guard shall consist of a hinged floor opening cover of standard strength and construction and removable standard railings on all exposed sides (except at entrance to stairway).

1910.23(a)(2)

Every ladderway floor opening or platform shall be guarded by a standard railing with standard toeboard on all exposed sides (except at entrance to opening), with the passage through the railing either provided with a swinging gate or so offset that a person cannot walk directly into the opening.

Also, several complaints have been made about the lack of hazard communication, violating OSHA ruling
• Fed Register #: 59:6126-6184
• Standard Number: 1910.1200; 1915.1200; 1917.28; 1918.90; 1926.59
• Title: Hazard Communication

The HCS requires employers to establish hazard communication programs to transmit information on the hazards of chemicals to their employees by means of labels on containers, material safety data sheets, and training programs. Implementation of these hazard communication programs will ensure all employees have the "right-to-know" the hazards and identities of the chemicals they work with, and will reduce the incidence of chemically - related occupational illnesses and injuries.

This modified final rule includes a number of minor changes and technical amendments to further clarify the requirements, and thereby help ensure full compliance and achieve protection for employees. In particular, the rule adds and clarifies certain exemptions from labeling and other requirements; modifies and clarifies aspects of the written hazard communication program and labeling requirements; clarifies and slightly modifies the duties of distributors, manufacturers, and importers to provide material safety data sheets (MSDSs) to employees; and clarifies certain provisions regarding MSDSs.

Furthermore, no maps comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and do not provided ample wheelchair access to several key locations. Such restricited access areas have been noted to include and exclude:

• Stairs, with no wheelchair ramps of 1:20 grade or handrails.
• Ramps of greater then 1:20 grade.
• Narrow corridors that restrict wheelchair access.
• Important braille signs for the seeing impared.
• Doorways with lack of sensing equipment, resulting in closure, despite the prescence of a person or persons.

Finally, we have had several complaints that the TSA Fronteirsmen Corps does not comply with the Equal Employment Opportunity Act and are not acknologing their Affirmitive Action contract. Such complaints include but are not limited to:

1. Lack of employment of non-caucasian employees.

2. Lack of employment of female employees.

As an Affirmitive Action employer, the TSA Frontiersmen Corps are required to hire a percentage of non-caucasian and female employees as stated in the Affirmitive Action contract.

Failure to remedy the above listed complaints and/or violations will result in litigation.

I dunno, but I learned more about OSHA standards then I've ever wanted to know.

And yes there are two marine skins, but only one is ever used.
