Where can I find numbers?
I wanted to write up something about gorges and aliens but I want to reference something semi official. Where can I find this info?
gorges get 3 times more ressources than all the others. if someone is maxed out his ressources go to the teammates. If all teammates are maxed out it goes to the Hive-Bank.
Thanks but I know this, I want to be able to point people (specifically my clannmates) to a place where they can read it for themselves if they so choose.
I found something better in the general discussions back when I was asking the same questions myself, but here's the closest thing I could find for you (I believe this is located in the Alien Strategy forums) Resource Model+Gorge strat
Hope this helps.. doing a search for this turned out to be more of a pain than expected.
Thanks, I'am at work and can't spend large amounts of time searching the forums and knew it would be like looking for a needle in a stack of needles. You rawk!

The model is fairly simple. Both marines and aliens gets
income per minute (or rather, they get one tenth of that every six seconds).
For the aliens, the resources are shared, with every live alien getting one share except gorges who gets three shares. So, in a four player game, with three skulks and one gorge, the total number of shares are six, so each skulk gets 1/6 of the resources, while the gorge gets 3/6.
Do note that dead aliens don't get resources. Also note that if you are outnumbered, you get more resources. Oh, and if there is less than four players on the teams, you still get resources as if you had four players.
This can lead to some pretty steep early game incomes if you have a 2 marine, one alien start, and noone wants to go alien for a minute ... both sides are getting income as if they had 4 players (about 20 res per minute), but with the resource balance for team kicking in, the lone alien is getting 40 res per minute, while the marines are getting 10 res per minute.

A pretty nice start for the aliens, that.
