I suggest scaling the forward arm up a bit. It's your own arm, attached to your body. It's not a few feet away. Maybe scaling it will lengthen the arm enough to allow for more freedom to display the reload.

the size of the gun is to BIG for half life no matter what i do it will not fit right if you want him to hold the gun right you see his arm floating in the air and that is lame i going to try messing with the gun scale

For reload anim why not just have him hit the top of the Morita with the palm of his hand, the clip drops, then a new clip suddenly appears. Or just have a cool reload anim where the clip is BIG so to reload he hits the gun to clear the chamber of a round jam that occurs every 150 rounds.

Then why not just hit the gun along the bottom of carrying handle to simulate breaching a clip?
