Cs 1.6 Delayed Again

<div class="IPBDescription">who gives a "bad word"</div> Hello, For those who are interested, Counter-Strike 1.6 was due for today but has been delayed once more. Do you care?

I tried playing CS last week but I figured out it was "boring".
I used to love that game, NS is in part responsible for that, game play is much more intense.

So who's anxious about CS1.6?
who plays other HL mods? (I hardly play DOD anymore since I bought BF1942 and CS bores me a little)
who plays other games? (as I just said, BF1942 takes a lot of my time right now, I also play sim city 3000 hoping to play 4000 soon)

CS 1.6 Beta should be out fairly soon, within a month I think.

I am looking forward to it.

I'll probably d/l it, play it, enjoy it, then go back and play dod and ns again, lol. NS has actually made me dislike DoD for it's lack of teamplay. I never thought I would see the day. I hope they start making more retail games like this, cause not all my friends are big into HL or mods at all, and I would love to show them what teamplay in video games is all about.

I played CS from beta4. Spend tons of hours with it.

So, well, nothing new, the CS Community and those X+0.1 updates always got delayed for 1 then 2 months or years. So why bother, when its out i m gonna test it but i dont think it has any future other than for lamers... so long cshit

Been playing CS since about beta 4ish also, i remember on cs_backalley i think it was beta 5, where you could jump on their heads from ladder and get on roof lol, and also you could get T skin as a CT and vice versa...

I want a riot shield, but how do you fire from behind it? Drop it?

its out its just not public they do this all the time.

Cs is fun just not on public servers.

CS is fun when I'm playing with my freinds, but I just plain 1337 5|_|}{0|2 at it.

I'm better at mods like NS, DoD(although I dislike the direction DoD is going in) and SI. Don't know why, just am.

I love how people call other people 'lamers', because of the game they play.

As for the 'no future' remark, I have been hearing that for 3 years.

I never really liked CS (I'm not twitchy enough to play well), but I got enough of it in at the CPL to last me a long time.

And about the riot shields in 1.6 - they're *awesome.*

I saw one guy take 4 AWP shots to the shield, and then cap the AWPer with a Desert Eagle while he was reloading.

If you shoot through the faceplate of the shield, it counts as a headshot, so the riot shields won't help you against skilled marksmen. But it will DEFINITELY reduce the number of AWPers overall, as you can no longer kill someone by shooting them in the foot if they've got the shield up.

BTW, you can't use rifles if you have a shield. Pistols, grenades, and knifes are it.
