Idea For Enhanced Sight

Sorry if somebody already came up with this... but how about giving aliens with enhanced sight the ability to switch their view to that kind of fish-eye lens effect, where you're able to see around a wider angle? I know there's a command in HL to set this, so it should be pretty easy to implement. It could be very useful for skulks attacking marine structures, when the sound of biting tends to obscure the sound of their approach - keeping the glow effect of course, since the warped view would make identification of moving things a little difficult.

the same was the building sound sounds very much like the click-clack of a skulk, only after playing lots do you see how well balanced this game really is.
