I always thought that the most fun in NS comes at the start of the game with marines vs skulks, it would be cool if there was a Team Deathmatch game mode where you start with 1 Hive, 1 Armory and 1 Spawn point (or maybe two marine spawns) and all buildings are indestructable, that should be pretty easy to implement. Also obvoiusly no CC or Gorges. You could have other gamemodes too such as king of the hill or even just plain all on all deathmatch. It would also be cool if the aliens could have any one level 3 upgrade, so they could have cloaking or silence or carapace or whatever but only one. Might need some smaller maps though but either way I think it would be fun for when I cant be assed building or whatever.

The only major problem I see with it is spawn camping by either team.
Sure, it would be indestructable, but it doesn't stop the fact you still spawn in - or near to- the same place every time...
That being said, if you want to play some Aliens vs Space Marine Deathmatch, give one of the Aliens vs Predator games a try.

"So I wanted to make a map. Since I don?t have enough actual skill to make any kind of real map I make gimmick maps instead. What I have this time is something like dustbowl for Team Fortress. The aliens start with three hives, both teams have a bunch of nozzles, and there are five minutes to build before the door opens and the onos charge in. After ten minutes of getting slaughtered the marines get access to a room where they can siege the hives from. The game ends in the normal fashion of killing all of the other team."
This map Cloak is doing sounds fun though <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> It'd be the equivalent of iceworld. Something to have a mess about on for a bit. Can you imagine a team of onos charging a plain towards a thin line of marines until carnage ensues ?
Be good as a refreshing change of pace on a map cycle.
