You'll be suprised to hear that the Iraq has really no very good ties with any major terrorist network. You may have noticed that people concentrate on the Sudan, Lybia, and Pacistan to find Al-Quaida refugees. That's mainly due to the fact that Hussein apparently scored more than one coup by 'accidentaly' unveiling terrorist hideouts in his borders when those terrorists appeared to be threats his position of power.

Alan Greenspan didn't warn the government of the economic consequences of a war without of reason. Investing in the military means that the state has less funds to funnel into the economy himself - for example by improving the infrastructure, tax changes, subventions, and whatever else helps the economy directely. Instead, the biggest part of the money is literally 'blown up' in missels and guns. These investions don't benefit any part of the economy except the weapons industry.

Every militaristic specialist I read from said that this 'mop up' would cost around half of a million peoples lives. A rather messy kind of cleanup, don't you tink?
Better President at least. Bush has been severely blasted by the media, and it has actually influenced a great deal of people into believing he's stupid and inept. Which is not true.

Dear Off-Topic community, we have gathered here today to mourn the loss of the "Why Bush Isn't A Cowboy" discussion which was brought from life to death by a ruthless left-winger posting the picture of two men, one of them possibly the poster himself (...), humping each other.
