Check out this exclusive Natural Selection screen saver, which contains loads of sweet images in a kind of slideshow format.

This exclusive screensaver contains dozens of Natural Selection in-game, model, and map images. It also contains information about each shot shown, allowing you to bone up NS while impressing your friends with your eye-popping monitor. It weighs in a paltry 3MB download, so even 56Kers need not despair about monitor burn-in ever again.

To use, simply unzip the single SCR file into your C:\Windows (Win95/98/ME) or C:\Winnt\System32 (Win NT4/2000) or C:\Windows\System32 (WinXP) directory. Then open up your display applet and activate the 'NSScreen' screensaver.

    I actually had an ambient sound loop in there. The problem was that even a small sound file adds a huge amount of bloat to an SCR file, as it compiles a runtime to allow it to be played. Ended up making it twice the size, so I ditched it.

    Well..silver fox you scare me.  Anyways, the screensaver is pretty cool.  You should slip blinky in there at some point.  I think everyone would enjoy seeing blinky the superbob appear

    Hey, perhaps someone with the skills should make an Animated NS Screensaver? Is it possible? I spose you could make one really really long animated gif? hmm. I'm essentially trying to get some in game footage - the trailer on NS.org is great and all... but after having watched it 623545214 times.... you know what I mean.
