2h 30min Game

ok i played a 2hr 30min game i was <!--emo&::gorge::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/pudgy.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='pudgy.gif'><!--endemo--> for aliens and it was mad we got em pinned in waste handling, but it took a 1hr at least to sort it out in that time i did around 10 hives in waste to get kill - lol.

mad, worst thing was the noobs on aliens was to scared they would get killed, i was like HELLO....we got enough for me to go frm 20 res after a hive st8 to 100, dying isn't a issue.

    Is is nsnothing with the great viaduct hive? When those sodding marines build a base in that red vent room near that hive, its VERY hard work to get them out. Spent 2 hours trying once.

    yea. I love nothing, it is probobly by far the most balanced map i've played.

    Yea, I was marine there once .. but in 1.04, with the siege requiring spotting, the marines won't be able to kill the 3rd hive from inside there any longer - they can only fire the sieges once every 20 sec or so (10 res per sec in income, 3 res per scan) ... plenty time enough to build sacrificial chambers closer than the hive, and/or heal up the hive.

    So the lerks can gas them dead.

    Er what exactly where the marines doing that it took you so long to clean them out?

    I take it you didn't do fade+umbra up close so the fade can use its claws then blink out for a heal (with the fatty spamming webs while they're occupied by the mad fade and lurk chewing them up...

    's what we always do on the marines final installation and works a dream.

    Heh ... I consider it to be one of the most unbalanced - if the aliens start in cargo, they win easily unless the marines rush the hive. If they DON'T start in cargo, a half-decent marine commander will take over the extremly easily defended cargo bay, with three resources nodes.

    So, 1/3 chance of easy alien win, 2/3 chance of easy marine win.

    rofl... i duno why... but i always seem to play short games... well around 30 minutes.. or so because not as short as phasegate rushing but still pretty short compared to the 2 30 minutes games of heard...

    well i duno.. jus seems like my freinds and i always get both hives before any skulks appear.. ie... today in ns_nancy.... they were in port engine room... my friend was CO and told my other two friends... zendryn and Eric to go ahead to subspace... well i went solo to noname.. and got a phase up before any skulk go thtere.. and soon i got my reinforcements because i managed to make a pahse gate too... i left but we woulda one.... we soon got most of the nodes too.... simple game <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    IT WAS TANITH, they had to many turrets and GLs but becSUE NO ONE HAD THE GUTS TO STORM IT TOOK FOREVER - noobs don'T LISTEN JUST LIKE THE GAME I JUST HA
