we were Kharaa. we had one hive and a gorge that didn't know what he was doing (and I'm far too chivalrous to evolve when theres already a gorge on hand). The marines had two hives locked up <b>tight</b> (and I by tight I mean "toite, like a toiger") and were making a move on our mother hive. Things were looking bleak...but none should ever underestimate the power of well organized skulks in large numbers.

After a few kamikaze runs on their spawn, to get the Frontiersmen a little riled up, we all rushed one of the hives. It was a TKO, straight up. Working as one famished, well-oiled machine four of us took out the turret factory and phase gate whilst one insanely l337 fellow ate up about five marines to keep us covered. Within minutes we had secured the location and put our second hive into production. When all had attempts of resistance had looked so futile, we turned the game around and in about an hour had conquered the second hive and annihilated the Terran (woops, did I say terran?) intruders.

See, this is the kind of thing gamers like me dream of: <b>fun!</b> Not "The Kharaa are too powerful" or "grenade launchers need to be nerfed" but playing the game as it should be played: people coming together and cooperating to win a silly match. All this was on a pub, mind you, and yes there were n00bs on our team (shoot, I'm about as n00b as anyone can be as a skulk). But a little tape and a lot of patience make all the difference. So I say to you people (and this is a general rant, not anything directed at anyone) play the game to have fun. Not to come up with the l337est strategies or bicker over weapon stats. Just have fun.

Normally takes a well organised rush or planned attack. but well worth it.
This normally means a long game 2.

It was on caged, so we went for generator...nothing there...silent as a grave
We moved on to ventilation, and there it was...
The skulks were so busy chuckling in our base vent that we could kill their hive in a few sec...
But they didnt die! We went towards sewer...then we noticed peole werent spawning back...they had our IP!
I fell down from the vent entrance in sewers and died...so did 2 others, now they were 2 on 2
the skulk was killed rather quick but the gorge hid behind an OC and two DCs..
When one marine died after killing the oc things were getting nervous...but our last guy was really skileld and took out the gorge with ze pistol....
Man that was fun
I hd a match wehere our second hive got nagged. All the marines were laughing at us.
Me and one guy went for the CC and ate it (before being killed). And he didn't build a second! Did we laugh at those marines!
