<div class="IPBDescription">It wont lemmie connect</div> For some reasons, when I click in internet connection or whatever after themultiplayer thing, it pops the window up saying connecting to valce, but its REALLY slow, go's by like .1 second, and the thing wont go through. When it duz, and I hit update, like 10,000 half life games/mods come up, and I cant play at all. But sometimes, It go's through normal and I can play. So the all in all, the valve thing wont go through and I cant connect, and Yes, I have shut down HL and logd back in, and shut my comp down to try again, plz help <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

Lol, you know what filters are for? To filter out the mods you dont need (like valve).

Go to your multiplayer game, but instead of connecting press cancel. Select filters. The should be a line like "use game X (X being, cs, dod, ns, flf, fa, dmz etc.)

Just select NS from the list and all is well (make sure the box is checked). PLAYTIME!!

Already tried that, and it brings up a list of 30,000 game servers, and My ping is super low. Yes, I know what filters are for, and yes, ive filtered for NS. Already tried that, and it brings up a list of 30,000 game servers, and My ping is super low. For some reason, it will not connect at all, and I cant filter/update for ns, it just brings up every half life mod server.

Restart HL. That fixes the problem. IF not, either try and try again or get the "All Seeing Eye".
