Quality of the maps

You people make me feel weak....
I'd just like to say "good work" to all of you... I've been mapping for some time now, never actually taken the time to become good yet I have learned what really makes a map good. And I'm constantly amazed by the quality you people are pushing up, not to mention they way you seem to hold to those restrictions (I felt great unease when I read about the texture limit, for example).

Someday I might join you in your level of skill, but until then, I'll be looking up to you guys with a tear in my eye, feeling incredibly weak and small...

Heh. If you feel your work need improvement -and you can take (constructive) criticism- I'd say post some of it up here. It will only help you in the long run.

Just keep at it if you're feeling discouraged! This community is great for handing out constuctive comments and such, so posting your stuff here is definitely a good idea.

feel free to post images of maps you're working on, the critisism here is ALWAYS constructive, it can only benifit you.

Don't give up! You're the little Minkur that could! Just ask parse, if it weren't for my motivating him, he'd be a lost cause
