<div class="IPBDescription">too many chambers of this type</div> I just wondered what constitutes an 'area' as far as DC's and OC's are concerned. Is it by map or is it calculated some other way. If it is by map is there a diagram of the 'area's on any of the overheads availiable?

it's within a certain radial sphere (easiest to calculate). If you spread them out, you will find that you can build a certain distance from the edges but not in the middle.

So assuming you wanted to maximise the healing of nearby DC's, it would be best to place 6 in 1 single spot(tower). Then at the edge of the radius place another 6 in 1 single spot?

The build radius seems to be a good bit bigger then the heal radius, so you can't get healing from 2 "areas" at once.
