No, there is a distinct objective for each team. Aliens must rush the marines out of the game, while a gorg or 2 builds defenses to prepare for the jetpack assault, which takes place right as aliens are about to get 2nd hive up. If marines are good they can stop aliens from getting 2 hives up, because once aliens DO get 2 hives up the game is pretty much finished.

I have no problem with Requiem or the map. We had this discussion on IRC. The topic should be disclosed as from now. Funmaps do not do the game harm, only the servers they run on. (Last sentence relates to all the people complaining).
I did not have this discussion, although I did read some of it from a friend who was listening. I would let the topic close except for the parting barb there "they only do harm to the servers they run on" -- Grow up. Please?
Right on, been playing this map at lans heaps and loving it. Why? Because sometimes we like to be not serious and just kick back. Does this diminish our enjoyment of NS? Hell no, 99% of the time we play serious maps. In the same way that some of us will play a few rounds of serious sam sometimes custom fun maps like this are played. No-one is forcing anyone to play this, it is your choice. If one of the servers near you puts it up, play on another one, I'm in australia which is basically a desert for internet and there are at least 20 NS servers to choose from in my city alone. This could never ruin NS as Flayra is hardly going to include a "fun map" like this in a standard realise. Just chill out and have a laugh <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
I love when you have 2 hives and can shoot webs on the roof and walls, then some poor little jetpack marine comes and flies right into them and falls to his death.
Please People. This is not a flaming forum! Respect each other, this is the mapping forum. If NS wanted a flaming forum they'd have one. Leave requiem and ns_missilecommand alone. Its done and dusted (Is this one of the top replies to a post? over 100?)

Isn't it basically the same though? Just a complete crazy battle in a big box.
