Cant Get Authicons To Work

in General Server Discussion
i have my wonid in mp_serverops in the server.cfg
and i have ns_authicons 1 also set in server.cfg

any idea why i cant get the cool icon next to my name?

    I've *heard* you also need to type "auth" in the console after joining the game. Haven't tested it myself yet though.

    it just says authentication on

    One post I read stated that it can take some time before the icon shows up. Not verified. Some definitive information regarding authicons would be great.

    it doesn't usually change right away, I've noticed that like when I'm in the readyroom or I'm dead or a specatator that it doesn't change. Not quite sure about the readyroom, but you get what I mean.

    it should take less than 30 seconds to show up. i don't think you have to die first or anything like that

    you have to die/frag or change teams for it to take effect.
