I wasn't quite sure where to post this, but this seemed like the best place.
/me is a stupid n00b.
Anyway I created a new server for NS. Those who play/played Firearms will know the Boson server. It has been around over years in some form or another. I know some of the guys who used to play on my FA server play this now, so I hope to see you guys around :).
The server is running:
Admin Mod (latest version)
CS Blacklist
and hopefully C-D and HLG in the near future.
a custom swear filter that does alot of nice tricks
once hlg is up I got a nice collection of hlg alias checks that catch stuff that is "undetectible"
The ban list has all the people banned from my FA server since Dec. 25 2003 (160 strong) this includes alot of know cross mod llamas, such as Pee Pee Boy and [myg0t]. I also wondering if there is a list of repeat offenders for the mod (such as Pee Pee Boy, I noticed he has been doing r4ges here).
Also has anyone established a wonid database for NS players (ie a HLSW database).
The server has 15 admins (only two play NS that I know of)
Admins (that play NS):

and if you see anyone from the FA clans [RA] or [AESIR] they probibly have admin as well.
your probibly see |semperfi| on the most till I get admins that play NS regularly
server rules:
-No Racism
-Don't attempt to defeat the swear filter
-anyone from [myg0t], 14/88, net_tez, or other r4ge clans are ban on site (as is pee pee boy)
-don't act like llamas

But HL-Guard just returns some nonsense about an invalid msg, then kicks the player from the server.

If you whant HLG and CD to work together you have to turn of Cheat Block in HLG. That will stop the Illegal User Msg 129.
Also, turn off Wallhack block in HLG as this has some problems with NS.
It is now on.
Aim bot detect is on.
Speedhack block is on.
And cvar and alias scans are on.
