Good Dvd Software

<div class="IPBDescription">too many to choose from...</div> What software dvd players do people use. I normally use my dvd on my tv, but i picked up a 16x dvd for my computer and i kind of like it more because of my sound card and 4.1 thx speakers. It came with powerdvd and a reg key, but i took a look at other software available and was kind of staggered by the amount of choices. So what do other people use? Any utilites that are good to pick up?

every dvd player you buy comes w/ dvd software... sooo... use the one that came w/ it... powerdvd is what i use, its good.

I usually use PowerDVD. I did find it had some difficulties running the movie Unbreakable. The movie ran properly on a program called Interactual DVD. While it isn't as good of a program as PowerDVD, it is an adequate second choice.

seeing how as he HAS a FREE copy of powerDVD, no worries

winDVD, ie a version of WMP?? I tihnk I will pass

oh, and for all of you NON-DVD needs TwinsVideo Player (http://www.twins-software.com/) freeware, and GREAT (no more WMP), plays everything save quicktime and RM (meh, any one gives you movies in that format is a fool ;D)

use what works for you... power dvd locks me up so i use win dvd (i think it is microsoft those ****)

I had only one issue with PowerDVD. I was watching a DVD, and instead of pressing "Stop" and then exiting out of the program, I simply pressed the "X" in the upper right hand corner. It restarted my computer.

thanks for cleaning it up for me but i was going to make a good one from scratch on my own... just have been to lazy... that was a temporary one that i threw up for the moment, then the boards changed themes.... i do aprreciate it though
