<div class="IPBDescription">What exactly is the "mood"?</div> I've been posting here and there and seeing alot of post talking on the "mood" of NS, like how this wouldn't fit with that "mood" or how this would kill that "mood".
But what exactly is the "mood"?
I was first thinking that the mood was going to be suspenseful, kind of scary at times, making you jump out your seat as you hear skulk biting you and such in a dark place. I found the silence skill good for this, and that was why marines should stick together. When I first played it was like this in 1.0, till commanders learned about motion tracking, and until fades were made better.(And till I learned everyone ups their gamma)
Now I'm thinking a full scale warfare battleground with fades shooting acid and heavy troops laying down cover fire as a grenadier tries to blow up the lerk. But full scale warfare in a space ship? Kind of cramped atmosphere don't ya think?
Then at a time I was thinking futuristic warfare....but without the futuristic weapons...errr...
So what is this Natural Selection "mood" I've been hearing about, how can I identify it?
