Updated Manual?

For 1.1?
I was hoping that the storyline would be advanced somewhat when 1.1 rolls in. You know, changes ingame through the various patches will be reflected in the storyline. (the deadly efficiency of the siege gun, the subsequet evolution that rendered the siege cannon "blind", etc)

is the TSA winning, losing? Are there third parties (most likely private interests who want the TSA out of the way) who will show up, making marine vs marine maps available?

will more information about the kharaa shed some light on why they exist? are they a terraforming bacteria that paves the way for a higher, more sentient race?

Will they introduce other races? (I have no idea if this will happen, given that most of the weapon slots are taken... but I think it's relatively easy to program 2 party maps. as long as only 2 factions fight they can circumvent the weapon limit.)

Will the TSA discover that the kharaa have some sort of society, where a particular "strain" of the bacterium is taking over, only to discover another colony of bacterium. So they duke it out, the kharaa killing each other, following the essence of this game... Natural Selection, survival of the fittest? (alien vs alien maps)

This is kinda old but some people may not have seen it.

Ninjaburger wrote a parody to six days in senjii,

I just want to see a new chapter of Six days in Sanjii. Would be the perfect side dish to go with 1.1's release.

I'd like to see a quick guide in html format showing things like how to build o/d/s chambers, a bit more extensive then the one you see after installing but not as bulky as the manual (which doesn't tell a lot of things...)

On a side note, my post markers seem messed up... Is it me or are other people experiencing this as well?

So off-topic it's unbelieveable, I can't see when new posts have been made on a topic i.e. all the post symbols are dark blue/orange. I've put it down to the forums acting up at the moment that Comprox is sorting.

Marine vs. Marine will be in 2.0, not 1.1. Personally, I think it should be mercenaries versus marines.. the only real change would be skins on the mercenary side (they'd use stolen TSA weapons). The structures would need some more drastic changes, but they could just be modified TSA equipment or even previous versions of their hardware. Familiar but with notable changes.

As for story.. I'll leave it to the designers to cook up a reason why mercs (or rogue marines) would jump into the fray.

I would really like to see the manual updated. Hell, if you guys need someone to do it, I would. I can make up scientific BS better than most people
