i know the map isnt bast, and i know its 1.03. But maybe you guys out there can learn about comming. My voice is on so you can hear. Enjoy, its about 40 minutes. I suggest watching it at 2x speed

Also, this should probably be in frontiersmen strategy, maybe a mod would like to move this?
Seriously though, I think the best building placement is buildings in the middle of a room with each building in two or more turret firing arcs. That ensures that no single building is vulnerable to quick Skulk strikes, especially buildings that are expensive (Arms Labs) or are needed for other buildings (Turret Factories).
My com strategy is: take 2 hives asap, fortify them, build a siege cannon at each hive and at the spawn. Build a second turret factory at each hive and at the spawn, in case one gets taken down. (this might seem like overkill, but as long as you hold 2 hives and a spawn, and have plenty of turrets and 2 turret factories at each site, it's close to impossible for those sites to be taken down.) Make a lot of turrets at each site. Then have fun <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> (upgrades, take more res spots etc..)
BTW, establish a phase network, and sometimes build a second phase at the hive that is getting pressured on, in case one goes down (1.04 made phase gates weaker, so you might as well take preventive measures)
