If you keep shooting that OC, you can't kill it with lmg if gorge is building it. And when it is finished gorge will heal it and probably build another one. I went alien, commander INSISTED on putting RTs in one spot without marines to build it... i was running to rush suddenly WOOSH... what do you know... a little mini base poped up for me to chew on! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
Then i went marine next round, someone went com (he was decent) but it was basically me and comm vs alien team, my teammates were bots I SWEAR TO GOD.... wait, bots actually follow orders, never mind <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
Once I played on a noob server, I joined in the end of the game and the aliens had 3 hives. I went marine and comm gave me a wayp I mad my way out from the base. Suddenly I stumble on an Onos I started shoot at it and it turned around and started to run! I was playing aliens, and after our first Skulk Rush, the comm started walling themselves into their base with Command Chairs. None of them could get out, nor would the comm recycle the CCs. We aliens just grabbed all three hives and bile bombed *over* the chairs. There wasn't much space to fire, but it was just enough. Scores that game were around 120/4 for us Kharaa. It was so frikkin' fun!
Discussion after the game proved that the Marines knew not of the "Eject Commander" function, and they all started shootin' each other in boredom. Lol! T'was a massive 24 player server, too!
HA, nothing. Now I have a funny story, HOLY **** MY SMILIES ARE UP, continuing I think that the stupidest thing I ever did is on ns_nothing. The commander drop a gernade launcher, and I a jet pack, and he's like go get up swifty. I was just trying to be funny, and I flew into that hole, and then I press jump, to go up, and it refuses to work, and I just start falling. I had 3/4 of my fuel. Man, did the commander get mad.

The only times I charge an enemy is when a. they are weak and I can finish them off, b. im dead anyways and have nothing to lose, or c. it's a n00b that doesn't know what he's doing. I was d. none of the above as he soon found out. Not to mention that this guy was a rambo and I have no sympathy for rambos.
However, there are a lot of things he could have done in that situation. He could have for instance, left me alone. Or he could have gotten back up. Or if he was really good he could have gotten close enough to hit me and not be in danger of getting webbed too close to the OC.
My point was just that this guy went gung-ho at me without thinking. We had 2 hives for a pretty long time at that point. They saw the acid rockets, so he should have known I'd potentially use web. That's what I would have been thinking about in his position. That's what I'm doing (buying half life next week just so I can get on NS). But I have the benefit of having played it for 2 weeks over Christmas vacation at a cousins house, so I know how fun it is already. But I haven't gotten to play 1.04 at all yet! Noooo!
