    And the second is about half the size for *other*.

    I have some Spoon, Bright Eyes, Lacuna Coil, Elliot Smith, Mindless Self Indulgence, Filter, Fuel, Harvey Danger, Aesop Rock, Foo Fighters, Pink Floyd, Beatles, Smashing Pumpkins and Neutral milk Hotel.

    That's mostly pretty 'soft' stuff, no death metal or anything like that.

    I don't listen to any music when I'm playing NS. I turn the music volume down to 0 and the sounds up all the way.     I've got a great soundtrack for when I listen...Two Towers. Helm's Deep when your in the middle of a knife vs Skulk fight it's creepy.

    Overall,I have like 5 playlists, each consisting of 17-20 songs each.

    Dance Factory Remix (took out 2 songs from Dance Factory by Louie Devito)

    New Age Remix (Adema, KoRn, Rammstein, Kronos, Barber, CKY2k Believer, Linkin Park)

    Two Towers

    Fellowship of the Ring

    I currently don't have any playlists. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo--> I used to have a playlist for just about any situation (study, work, gaming, party, eating, reading, messageboarding, war, etc), but lost 'em a few months ago. Now I just load full albums and listen.

    There's a few bands that get frequent playing, like 12 Stones, Seether, Avril Lavigne, Blue Rodeo, and Our Lady Peace. Other times, I'll usually have a streaming station playing.

    The only time I listen to NS is when I acidentally leave an audio CD in teh drive, and it starts automatically when I join the server. Is this supposed to happen?

    As I need to listen to skulks etcetera, I dont use playlists at all. I might put a record on ( ranging from Iggy Pop and the Stooges - Raw Power to Prokofiev - Ivan the Terrible Soundtrack, from The Velvet Underground - Fully Loaded to Jazzmatazz and from Moby to Thelonious Monk )

    Its a Half-Life thing, It can be disabled in Audio options I think.

    Just uncheck the box that says Play CD Audio (Or something like that)

    hehe, never listen to music as I play (buth that is not what the post is about)

    I use 3 forms of music:
    1) Winamp play list
    Well, I just reformated so I reoganized all my music files, so I have to recreate my list (basicly angry violent, fun MSI is god <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->)

    2) Launchcast.com
    it used to be the best source of internet radio, free, no comercials, and you build your own station by ratting songs, artists, albums, and genres. All in all it was great, now yahoo owns it and it is not nearly as good (comercials, but they are rare enugh not to make me wory). If you want to know what I listen to you can go to launchcast and look up Thansal1 (sill yahoo thuinks Thansal exists and does not exist at the same time ;D)

    and what I listen to the most is:
    3) AMVs (Anime Music Videos)
    For those of you who are not familiar the concept is: Take a song, take an anime (some times a few animes) and sync up the anime to the music. On that list I have:
    bebop set to the Opera from 5th element
    lots of bebebop
    lots of trigun
    Mononoke set to worlds colide (powerman 5K)
    BigO set to wierd Al's christmass at ground zero
    Aeon Flux set to the Prodigys Breath
    Akira set to D12's purple pills
    Lain set to a techno version of hall of the mountinking
    Pokemon set to MSI's **** (this is the one most people know, it consists of pikachu lipsyncing ;D)
    and a LOT more
